A woman is in custody after police in Brentwood found her husband fatally stabbed in the couple’s home Tuesday morning.
Officers in the city in east Contra Costa County responded around 10:15 a.m. to a welfare check requested in the 300 block of MacArthur Way and made contact with the woman, then found the husband with several stab wounds in the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Brentwood police said.
The names of the woman in custody and the man who died are not yet being released.
No one else was believed to be home at the time, according to police.

Within the past ten years, I’ve been called for jury duty for three domestic violence cases. In two of them, the wives were the alleged perpetrators. I found this surprising, since males are generally assumed to be the abusers. Careful guys. Don’t give her an excuse to come after you!
I think there is a big difference between reality and myth. I personally believe women are far more violent than men but because of the strength mismatch their violence usually shows up in other ways.

I had a friend growing up in middle school that had her grandparents raising her because her mom stabbed her father to death in self defense but she still was in prison for it. She’s probably out now most likely this was about 20 years ago. Hint don’t piss off your wives guys. 😂
Men are mostly the abusers and it takes a lot to make these women finally defend themselves. Unfortunately, when it gets to that point, the women want the men dead.

For real men the sun rises and sets on the women in our life…. this situation sounds screwed up. If you have a toxic relationship go separate directions before s#!t like this happens. Two lives lost here, no excuses
Men are MUCH more violent than women. They are testosterone driven, and this isn’t breaking news. When a man abuses a woman, it’s because he’s abusive. More often than not, when a woman abuses a man, it’s because she’s being abused. Society knows this. It’s reality. The truth hurts.
