As we previously reported over the weekend, a 17-year-old robbery suspect was shot and killed on Friday night in Brentwood.
The other robbery suspect was uninjured, but was arrested and identified as a 20-year-old Walnut Creek resident.
The victim in this case, a 21-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound, but is expected to survive.
The following update is from the Brentwood Police Department:
SHOOTING THAT OCCURRED IN THE 800 BLOCK OF MARJORAM DRIVE ON FRIDAY, JULY 14, 2023 AT APPROXIMATELY 7:45 P.M.
The surviving suspect in Friday night’s shooting was identified as Antonio Barajas, 20 year-old Walnut Creek resident.
Barajas was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for the following:
1. Attempted Murder
2. Attempted Robbery
3. Conspiracy
4. Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon
5. False Imprisonment
6. Discharging a firearm at an occupied vehicle
7. Carrying a loaded firearm in public

Why no direct identification? just ” 20 year-old Walnut Creek resident.” , if you can’t identify them as a “Citizen’ they most likely are not! Send them back to where they came from after appropriate punishment! LOL never gonna happen.

It’s a part of the new California culture. The liberal progressives and democrats are pushing hard that being a criminal and committing crimes is OK. Some kids that don’t know any better and haven’t learned and developed good judgment skills will end up paying the price for it.
