The upcoming Independence Day holiday is expected to witness a remarkable milestone with a projected 50.7 million Americans planning to take vacations.
This figure represents the highest travel volume ever projected by AAA.
More than 5.6 million Californians are expected to travel for the holiday, a notable increase of five percent compared to last year.
AAA anticipates that the upcoming holiday will set new records for both road and air travel. While most people will be traveling by road, the share of people flying has increased to the highest level in nearly 20 years at 8.2 percent. It is recommended that you setup your accommodations in advance before Laguna Beach hotels become fully-booked. If you’re taking a yoga retreat in Thailand, you can find the best yoga studios on Koh Phangan here.
“Despite limited inventory and airfare soaring 50 percent higher than last year, consumers are choosing not to scale back their travel plans,” says Brian Ng, Senior Vice President of Membership and Travel Marketing for AAA Northern California. “This holiday weekend, there’s going to be a huge influx in travelers, so it’s important to take advantage of available resources to get the most out of their trips.”
fortunately, am in a position that don’t have to use holiday travel times…. Usually venture out at off season and in-between holiday times.

Home is Good !
I will be traveling my butt right out to the backyard and firing up the grill! I hope you all do the same! Have a great 4th of July weekend!
No place like home. Especially with a good A/C unit and a book.
.
Thank you Claycord for referring to the upcoming weekend as “Independence Day (weekend)” rather than “4th of July” or “July 4”.

Yes, it matters to us Americans.
I smell BS.
Nobody can afford to travel or do anything.
Thanks Joe.
I’m traveling……..to work!
