Is he going to talk about Joe Biden ?

I hope so. Biden has accomplished more at this point in his terms as Trump did in his entire four years.

Well, I guess you’re partially right about Biden accomplishing more. But unfortunately it’s all more of the bad! More crime, more world turmoil and more financial woes for us at home.

Concord Guy,
Indeed he has – for the progressive movement citizen terrorists, for fentanyl wide open borders smugglers, for countries that hate us and want to destroy us. But, not for those of us who have to work and support ourselves and families, pay taxes, put gas in our cars, go to work each day, buy food, pay for someplace to live, worry about our safety and rampant incessant and growing crime and lawlessness, and much more.
Bidens truly greatest and biggest achievement, so far, is how he has caused absolute loss of trust and faith in the government, and how he and his administration have turned our once great nation in into a weak divided bumbling mess.

TDS. (Trump derangement syndrome) would rather go outside and eat dirt than actually read something other than headlines and admit they are wrong and understand our new dictators policy’s are damaging all of us.
you can’t fix this…. Mind like concrete “thoroughly mixed and permanently set”.

Inflation is a tax on all of us!

He should visit a mental health specialist.

Discussion of his mental health? …. that will be a small audience … but I do hope his Dr attends

Look in the mirror genius! then figure out how to do good things for once.

I think he is running a race to be the most useless politician, and if not and this is just his everyday approach to problems, then we are in a bigger problem than we really think. Please vote next time for someone that will really do something for everyone and not just be a democrat talking head

Mental health is a huge problem today. The problem is they will only talk about it because anyone with mental health problems today has rights. Thank you ACLU. Don’t blame Reagan he was only the governor of California when institutions were closed down all over the country. I only mention that because Reagan is always getting blamed for it.

The community mental health act was approved by congress, and signed into law by President Kennedy. His goal was to free thousands of mentally ill patients held against their will. President Carter, signed an act which would have provided funds to local mental health centers. Congress, with a Democrat majority, repealed the act. Reagan agreed with Carter that it should be up to the states to have complete control over funding and operating mental health institutions.
When Reagan became governor, anybody could be locked up indefinitely against their will. A rogue judge, or a vindictive family member, could have a patient locked up against their will indefinitely in a state hospital. Reagan signed into law, bipartisan legislation that made it illegal for civil courts, or family members to have a mental health patient institutionalized against their will.
Remember One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest? It was written in the 60s by an orderly who based it on his experience at a mental health facility in California.

A lot of these mental health issues have to do with drug use. Actually most of them. it is also thought that all these ‘syndroms’ that kids have now a days are a result of all the medications their mothers were taking while pregnant… antidepressants etc people seem to live on nowadays)

You are 100% correct about drug use causing mental health issues.
Hormone treatments will do it every time.

Let’s see. The citizenry (and illegals) are dealing with an inflation rate of 4.8% today (as high as over 9% last year), wage growth rate of 4.5% (less than inflation), record number of illegals entering the country by way of invasion at our southern border, rampant theft, drugged out bums leaving trash wherever they keep their shopping cart Calistogas, a president openly hostile to one half the country, a Congress that knowingly spends 3x the amount of tax payer money they should, and then criticize the citizen when the citizen suggests perhaps slow the spending, an ideology trying to eliminate our vehicles, our stoves, our grills, our freedom of movement, and the list can go on, yet this guy wants to talk about mental health. I guess it makes sense, pride month is indicative of one example of poor mental health.

That’s offensive. Pride Month is “indicative of mental health”. What is that? It’s 2023 folks. We all know gay people. Get a grip. Live and let live. Look in the mirror before you judge.

Gender dysphoria is listed in the DSM-V as a mental disorder. Trust the science:

That’s what all those naked bicycle guys must have been doing during the Seattle Gay Parade:
They were getting a grip.
Perhaps if they did that while looking in the mirror at home the civilized world would be spared their exhibitionist tendencies.

Just wondering how many geniuses that comment on this website actually partake in any civic engagement. There is a whole lot of belly aching, but very little involvement.

I partake in civic engagement daily.
Every morning I burn a pride flag on my front lawn while singing The Star Spangled Banner.

I don’t claim to be genius. Everyone is born with gifts. The narrative always takes a downturn because this society was raised in a certain fashion. So as usual we continue to deal with the same exact issues. I myself continue to treat others the WAY I was taught. Not everyone has had the fortunate experience to be raised in a loving and caring environment. So, I make it a point to interact with others in a wholesome manner, regardless of background, disability, or apparent beliefs.

Do you interact in a wholesome manner when they march down your street naked and twerk on your stoop in front of your kids?

I’ve heard a shot to the pills with a cattle prod makes for an outstanding twerking demonstration. Could probably twerk a city block in no time at all………

ROBERT,
It wasn’t easy. It was a long and bloody battle, but this Country had pretty much worked our way past race AND gender-bending issues years ago. We don’t need to be reminded. We don’t need to be scolded if our opinion is different from yours. Don’t ya just love that First Amendment. Thoughts are actually more free than speech! 😊
Be the best you can be… whomever you are or whatever you prefer.
I don’t take “pride” in my gender. It just is. And I live within its confines (assuming there are confined). And I don’t need to wave a flag to prove it.
I don’t take “pride” in my sexual preferences. They just are. And they are legal, and flagless as well.
I don’t demand that anyone else agree with whatever my actual pronoun may be. Make your best guess and move on with whatever we are doing… I’ll deal with my own feelings, Thank you.
I don’t demand that anyone else agree with what I choose to do behind my own door. Mind your own business. That works for me.

All that being said… come near one of my pre-pubescent, minor age children and try to influence or make them into something they never even thought of being….
I will gladly go to prison for exercising my Second Amendment right to defend myself, and my children! The exibitionist tribe you defend will have to drape their silly “look at me – look at me” flag over a box.

Oh, and by the way. Nowhere in the Bill of Rights is it mentioned that you should never say anything that might be seen as “offensive” to the easily offended.

Dawg, had to had some levity to this discussion. Back in days of Theatre, husband and I were in the local Play done by a director friend of ours, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. He played Scanlon and I played Candy Starr…:)

DEM controlled congress passed Community Mental Health Act,which was last bill JFK signed into law Oct. 31, 1963. When will congress act to fix damage done to America by that Bill ? ? ?
.
DEM controlled congress decided to shove responsibility for mental health care down onto the “LOCAL LEVEL”.
.
Subsequent congresses failed to follow thru on funding leaving us with the deeply flawed system we have today that leaves the mentally ill to wander our streets homeless. Our first responders are forced to repeatedly deal with the mentally ill until such time as they commit a serious enough crime to catch a case which gets them incarcerated. As a result jails and prisons have become largest providers of mental health services in America.
.
congressman man up and FIX the damage done to America by 1963 Community Mental Health Act.
