Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a DUI enforcement patrol Friday, Concord police said.
Impaired driving can be caused not just by alcohol, but by some prescription medications or over-the-counter drugs, the police department said in a statement Saturday. Driving under the influence of marijuana is also illegal.
The department said its DUI enforcement patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Had a nice drive in my mercury Friday night, only saw two idiot drivers. Thanks PD.
