Anybody remember 4-Corners Pizza?

It was the first time I’d seen someone toss pizza dough. Standing outside watching them through the plate glass window, pretty entertaining as a kid.
So cool! What was the prefix in their phone number, MU 5?
I was familiar with OV (Overland), JU (Juniper) etc. Ahh, the good old days!
You could always see Mello’s tossing pizza dough in their original location near the Mexican Restaurant that was where the Taco Bell is.
My educated guess is that it was Mulberry.
4 corners pizza was the best in their day!
@IGNATZ….I don’t know, Sham’s had a pretty killer pie, 4Corners and Melo’s are my all time favorites. Each place had its own style.
@Martinez GUY…MU=Mulberry. One thing I’ll always remember at Melo’s back then were the dusty plastic grape vines everywhere….great pizza, good times!
Besides 4 Corners pizza, my other favorite was Freddie’s Pizza in Lafayette when they were on the main street.
In the upper left side of the page, across Monument Blvd. was “CBS”=Consumer Buying Service, a membership store kind of like Costco or Sam’s. They had the cheapest tube of BBs around and I went through quite a few tubes.
Mulberry 5!…..man, that is old
Loved Freddie’s and Melo’s, both different styled pizza from each other but both equally delicious! Miss both of them
