Most MDUSD grads will need all the luck they can get!

Navigating life with a substandard education is difficult in the best of circumstances and darn near impossible for those raised in dysfunctional communities like most of those served by Northgate, YVHS, CPHS, MDHS and Concord High.

*SMH* Not sure exactly WHAT you are referring to, but my son, and every one of his friends are going to college and campuses that are well-respected in the country to continue their educations.
Not a real supportive comment to send these kids off in life……

I’m not the one who provided them with a substandard education. kids are the ones who are “not real supportive” in sending their kids off in life.

Patents in my community are in fact quite supportive of our kids’ education. Parents who choose the MDUSD for their

Yup. Just a bit haplessly, and not enough to sacrifice their lifestyle for a decent school district. I’m successful in spite —not because — of the MDUSD.

By what definition of success? Your comments indicate a different story.

In 1985, we had our graduation at the Pavillion … over 110f that day. Then we left to Waikiki and Maui for our class trip … drinking age was 18 in Hawaii … good times. CVHS Class of 85. Good luck and best wishes to all who made it through … from Cambodia!
