The following is from the Concord Police Department:
Press Release – Homicide
Yesterday at approximately 4 pm, Officers responded to a home in a North Concord neighborhood near Port Chicago Hwy.
Officers found a 66 year old male deceased inside the home, with apparent stab wounds.
Officers arrested his 38 year old roommate. It appears as if the two had an argument which led to the stabbing.
Nicholas Carson was taken into custody and is currently held at the Contra Costa County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
Anyone with information regarding this case may contact Detective James Nielsen at 925-603-5817.
I saw 3 of Concord’s Finest Driving Code 3 expertly along Meadow Ln. at high speed at that particular time. Not knowing exactly what they were getting into, just trying to save someone before a possible death occurs.
To Protect And Serve, are two words that describe the Concord Police Department.
A Big Thank You!
You got to ban guns to stop all this violence!
Oh…well…I guess we need to ban knives!
….then, will bad people turn to forks & spoons?
My guess is the 66 year old victim took in a transient.
It’s a shared sober living residence on Esperanza.
Another website listed it as a house on or near Esperanza
It was on Esperanza, just off Dormer- the division behind the BART. Bunch of cop cars and fire trucks out there yesterday.
.
It’s another stabbing. Whew.
.
Less gun violence tho.
Give him the death penalty.
