Two people were taken into custody after a traffic stop in Brentwood, according to police.

The following is from the Brentwood Police Dept.:

A Brentwood officer was patrolling the area of Lone Tree Way and Hwy.4 when he saw a car with expired registration. The officer conducted a traffic stop, and when he contacted the driver, she falsely identified herself to him.

After further investigation, the officer found that the driver, Brianna Pluta (29) of Oakley, was on probation out of Alameda County, and had a felony warrant for fraud related charges. The passenger of the vehicle, Chevy Pittman (24) of Contra Costa County, also had a felony warrant for fraud related charges.

Upon searching the car; drugs, several suspected stolen credit cards and mail, counterfeit bills, and a notebook containing names, social security numbers and other personal information was found.

Pluta and Pittman were both placed under arrest for the warrants, possession of drugs, and several fraud related charges. They were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility for booking.

Claycord note: Both suspects were released from jail shortly after booking.

They’ve got all that crap in their vehicle; felony warrants and they’re driving with expired tags? How stupid can they get.

Well how stupid can our officials get for instantly releasing them?

What the hell with that record and they were let go?Why!

50

And then there’s plenty of complainers who don’t show up at the polls.

Remember back in the day when a felony was against the law?

We’ve come a long way, baby!

So this is what progressives call progress in and out in hours. Just let them out to progress to a more serious crime.

Why not send a clear concise message to citizens of CoCo county,
rip out front Jail doors and replace with a revolving door.
.
Was OR release or was bail posted ? ? ?
.
Just how SERIOUS a Felony does it have to be for a person to be held.
Don’t citizens of CoCo county deserve to know.

.
Ah yes,… the revolving door of CA’s criminal justice system.
.
Do your elected Democratic officials really prioritize your safety and welfare?
.
I think not… all they seem to care about is your leftist vote during election season.
.

Go look at the republicans states like Jim Jordan’s they have more crime.

DMC, way to throw out fake info

If we are going to compare, we need to take into account the number of people in the states we are comparing.

California has much more crime than Ohio.
California has a considerably higher crime rate than Ohio.
However, there are a lot more Ohio State fans in Ohio than in California, which should make you feel better.

As a general rule, most crime occurs in blue cities, regardless of whether the state is red or blue.

DMC,
.
California generally has more property crime and violent crime than Representative Jim Jordan’s state of Ohio.
.
Why would you just look at Republican states versus Democrat states, when you can look at the counties and cities of the individual states that have more or less property crime and violent crime to see if they are run by Democrats or Republicans? Just looking at states that have a mix of Democrat and Republican areas can skew the results that you’re looking for.

People like DMC only use vague talking points and are generally factphobic.

I would expect nothing less in this county.

Great job DA! Why inconvenience those poor fleabag criminals & get them back out on the streets robbing & stealing from the citizens. They had a book with people’s personal information written down…SMDH

TWO VERY FINE UPSTANDING INDIVIDUALS, AT LEAST BECTIN THINKS SO.

And hopefully soon to marry into its family.

That must be frustrating, as can be for the officers who make the felony arrest of these dirtbags. Just to see them let out a few hours later. If you think they show up for their court dates, I would say there’s maybe a 50-50 chance.

Why we can’t have nice things. They keep releasing criminals to re-offend.

23

That criminal has nice things: $150 pair of Nikes. Not sure what the neck tattoo cost. ( those are not nice though, in my opinion )

.
Neck and face tattoos scream, ” I will never be a contributing member of society”.
.

And being a plain old Citizens without a record, if I didn’t make a full stop be-hide a crosswalk, I would probably be stuck in jail over-night. LOL!
Geez!, … this getting crazy!

23

This is just plain sickening. What was that about living in CCC?

@Ricardoh
Most definitely one of the cons.

8

Well our DA was obviously busy shaking down CVS for expired baby formula and cold meds for $7.5 Million. It’s all about priorities. Prosecuting street crime doesn’t pay the DA’s office or Soros so it doesn’t really matter.

28

$$$ Money Makes the Vorld Go ‘Round, The Vorld Go ‘Round~~~🎼

Of course they were released. No surprise here. Society is so upside down.

24

A felony is like a ticket for spitting on the sidewalk these days.

That’s what you get with a Soros appointed DA.

20
1

What’s the point of even arresting them?

16

Drop them off with those that voted for and made it happen. That’s what they wanted, so that’s what they should get.

Rally in front of Becton & the Judges houses.
A why didn’t the Sheriff step in and block their release – fulfilling their duty to serve and protect????
If they are not going to be nothing more than meter maids = they are not needed and their future is beginning to look like Bud Light!!!

Time to do your jobs and protect the public.

DMC, California residents have the third lowest IQs of all the states. Makes sence since we’re a Democrat state.

But wait everyone, they’re enforcing seatbelt tickets like no other. What a joke

11

We know people generally have warrants because they are hiding out from prosecution . What’s the point in even arresting these people if they don’t even have to make bail?

This is awful.

11

The road goes on forever and the party ever ends.

Felony warrants and put out the revolving door…. those who voted against the recall and for the incumbents again (Newsom, Bonta, and Becton) …this is what you wanted – don’t be complaining about crime… the rest of us can … ridiculous … no consequence to felonies even sigh

10

Continue voting for ultra liberal government officials like legislators & DAs and this is the result.

11

I wanna know if the car was given back to them as well?

And if so, why? It is not registered. I doubt it was insured. If it is not registered or insured, it should not be given back.

Non violent offenders have it too easy. Handcuffs, a free meal, and back out on the streets to commit more crimes. They’ll skip their court dates again and the situation repeats itself again. It’s the definition of insanity. We aren’t going to get different results this way.

Will the authorities be kind enough to properly notify the people (AKA future victims) that their personal information, identification was compromised?

Maybe I’m not looking in the right places, but why aren’t the Heads of the Police Officers Unions holding Press conferences on all of this???

Why hasn’t Becton been arrested as her Position does NOT grant her sole authorization to cancel laws that go against her FEELINGS!?!?!

They toss out token caucasians now and then because they are tired of being accused of just releasing their preferred races. Optics.
However the real problem is not one of race. It’s clearly preferring criminals to law abiding, working, tax payers. Thats because George Soros despises humanity. He’s worse than all the James Bond Villains combined. And these minions do his bidding.

The reason they were released is most likely because they posted bail. Instead of waiting for their trial in a jail cell, they get to wait for it in their homes.
