Obituary – Robert Laurence – 1937-2023 (Brentwood)
Robert “Bob” Laurence passed away in Brentwood on March 27, 2023 with his family by his side.
Bob was raised in Piedmont and then attended Diablo Valley College where he later joined the US Navy. Once he returned home he attended and graduated from the University of Oregon.
Bob has had many careers in his lifetime from being a bee keeper, to a family-run furniture store, a shutter business, a successful Realtor/Broker and to his final career chapter of being a Contra Costa Probation Officer which he was extremely proud of.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Joni Laurence, Son Kevin Laurence (Artemisa), Daughters Christina Scott, Michelle Wright (Cliff), Stepson Michael Ferriera, Stepdaughter Gina Ferriera along with 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held on Saturday June 3rd from 12pm-3pm at the Summerset Clubhouse, 193 Summerset Dr. Brentwood CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity in Bob’s name.
