Tucker Carlson went from CNN to FOX; if he rebrand his image as a moderate, I can see he land on MSNBC

Don Lemon is done; as an old, black, gay, it will be hard to land another gig even if there are employers with affirmative action hiring practice.

I guess another option is that they go independent.

Tucker Carlson went from CNN, PBS, MSNBC then FOX. He stirs the pot which draws RATINGS. Hard to say where he might go next.

One has the highest rated show in America, the other will be lucky to get a job flipping burgers.

Tucker will end up being one of the largest Podcasts in America, alongside Rogan. He’s no dummy, he’s got the viewer base, and won’t be looking to split money with the outdated TV format of “We tell you what to say, and if we want your opinion, we will give it to you”. Tucker simply became too powerful, the deep state made the call. Fox would not fire it’s bread and butter, they were forced.

Don can do a swan dive of the Golden Gate, Tucker can continue on as he’s spot on with his investigating and reporting.

So Tucker was spot on when he said,” I hate Trump Passionately.”?

I hate Trump’s Personality too, but he stood up for America and he was respected by other countries because he was tough. His policies’ were good for the Economy too. But he was a Jerk, but he was for the common man, not the Elites.

Yes, he could be crude but I wouldn’t call him a jerk. Trump got attacked by many right from the get go. No one set off the establishment crooks like Trump did. Not even Nixon got treated that badly so Trump struck back. I sort of enjoyed it. Now I think he is going overboard with DeSantis.

Once again, you should not be looking for a father figure or spiritual advisor when you vote, but rather who is better for the country, and with open borders Biden and Kamala don’t even believe this should be a separate country.

You understand that there were “important” people who passionately hated Winston Churchill, correct?

Carlson will end up on OANN.
.
Lemon? He’s radioactive like Kaepernick. Only a network like MSNBC would hire that diva. Otherwise, he should move to Cuba.

I don’t care much. Use to like Don Lemon, but have not watched his show in a long time. I liked Tucker Carlson when he was on CNN with Bill Press, didn’t always agree with him, but he was more reasonable. On Fox he seem to develop a fondness for dictators and conspiracies. Having said that one of my girlfriends who on most issues is more liberal than me, a Bernie supporter, she watched him, didn’t agree with a lot of his positions, she too have a soft spot for dictators (Putin and Assad, except she don’t think they are dictators) and conspiracies. Go figure.

Ricardo, I would love to reply to your comment, but there seem to be a word missing. From what I gather you seem to infer that I like Putin, I detest Putin, he startet a war for no reason. I mention I have a girl friend who seem to have a soft spot for Putin and other dictators. She is also Danish and we have been friends since 1969, but I cannot discuss Putin and Ukraine with her. Navalny is a hero, he is in jail for having the gaul to challenge Putin, my friend cannot bring herself to admit that Putin is wrong.

Dawg April 25, 2023 - 1:00 PM - 1:00 PM

I haven’t watched Tucker Carlson in quite a while. He was good at spinning the news by reframing and modifying the perception of an event to support a particular viewpoint. Another thing he did that I didn’t like, was shaping Kyle Rittenhouse into some sort of hero, and in my opinion, Mr Rittenhouse was a foolish kid who went to a protest armed with a rifle, looking for trouble. With Don Lemon, I never watched him, he isn’t my cup of tea.
In my opinion, listening to too much news talk, especially when most of them are openly biased, can have a negative effect on how people perceive reality, and the world in which we live. It has produced too much hate, with the Left hating the Right, and the Right hating the Left. It seems that too many people cannot think for themselves, and consequently, believe most of what they hear on TV and radio.
It’s not the end of the world for Don Lemon, or Tucker Carlson, getting fired can open other doors, and possibly lead to better opportunities. Tucker is too good at what he does, his career will not be damaged. Since I never watched Don Lemon, I don’t know enough about him to give an opinion.

Ricardoh April 25, 2023 - 3:22 PM - 3:22 PM

I like Tucker. The things he discussed were provable. He brought up things others wouldn’t. Things we have the right to know. When Fox fired Tucker they put every person who appears on Fox in jeopardy of losing their job. They all know they could be next. There are a lot of theories of why he was fired so I will wait and see which one lasts. Dumb move I think and I have lost my enthusiasm for watching Fox. The problem is there is no place to go. I have always referred to Lemon as Lamoan. His opinions don’t really count.

The capitol riot ,which Trump called for and Carlson praised, got 126 cops injured.

I bet Carlson has never been in a fight in his life.

Just think if Nancy had acted when she was informed by the WH and the FBI, who by the way was helping with forming the demonstration, no one would have been hurt. Two days warning and did nothing. Democrats wanted it to get worse than it did. So far they have only had two years of condemning Trump and MAGA.

And I quote: “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

If “fight like hell” is a call to action, every scumbag politician on the hill should be prosecuted.

When it comes to lies, he’s a saint compared to Biden’s Press Secretary, or Biden for that matter. I give Joe a little bit of a pass as he has no idea who he is, where he is, or what’s going on. He can’t even announce his run for 2024 live, they have to put him on edited video.
His administration is sure screwing up the country however. That’s why they are running him again. A lucid President would reel them in.

@The Fearless Spectator
You’re giving him a little pass? He’s the creepiest creep who showered inappropriately with his daughter; the creepiest creep sniffing little girls’ hair; the creepiest crook shielding other crooks in The White House; and this creepiest POS (among so many other things) won’t close our border. HE DOES NOT DESERVE A PASS!!!

THE BLACK KNIGHT April 25, 2023 - 6:18 PM - 6:18 PM

Don Lemon will likely end up at News Nation with former CNN anchors Banfield and Cuomo, will be picked up by MSNBC, or will return to anchoring local news. Although the last time he anchored local news he was so unhappy that he contemplated suicide.
.
Tucker Carlson has far more options than Don Lemon. Tucker Carlson owns his own studios in Maine and Florida where he has been broadcasting his shows from for a few years. Newsmax, OANN, Blaze would all pick him up as soon as he’s available, depending if his contract had a “non-compete” clause that prevents him from working in the industry for 1-year. He did co-found The Daily Caller, but was forced to divest his interest when the FNC gave him a show, so he already has inverstors lined up for him to create his own media company.

… doesn’t matter – they’ll both find jobs.. all political

ClayDen April 25, 2023 - 8:06 PM - 8:06 PM

Tucker was offered a job last week by the Heritage Foundation, before any of this was announced. However, he might consider it as a “side gig.” Tucker belongs on TV, and wherever he lands, it will boost that network or organization big time. I suspect that Blaze TV is a good option, and he would be added to a strong lineup that already includes Mark Levin.

Tucker: Will develop his own podcast. He already has said as much, and praises the Joe Rogan and Adam Carolla formats of independence.
Lemon: I could not care less what he does.

I think it would be fun if they just traded jobs. Doubt it’ll happen. I mean, Fox used to have Alan Colmes. Tucker and Don have BOTH said and done things that I find highly problematic.

Rollo Tomasi April 26, 2023 - 9:02 AM - 9:02 AM

At least Tucker was smart enough to understand Jussie Smollet’s story was bulls**t from the beginning. Tucker could be dishonest at times; Don Lemon was dishonest AND stupid.

inmotion April 26, 2023 - 11:17 AM - 11:17 AM

Lil’ Tucker was born rich and entitled, for all his ass kissing of Trump, he despised the man. He’ll go the way of Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly spewing his brand of alternative conspiracy facts to the ignorant rubes that make millionaires out of preachers. Remember when he used to wear a bowtie and got destroyed by Jon Stewart?
Lemon was too full of himself, won’t be missed.
Extremism gets ratings but is bad for the wallet as the Murdochs found out.

Hanne Jeppesen April 26, 2023 - 6:33 PM - 6:33 PM

Immotion, I agree with your take on Glenn Beck and O’Reilly. I use to watch O’Reilly on Fox years ago, he didn’t seem to be into conspiracies, I often didn’t agree with him, but still liked his show. Glenn Beck has gotten more and more off the wall it seems like. At times I listen to Dave Ramsey on 650 a.m Sacramento, when his show is over at 6 p.m. Glenn Beck is on next, sometimes I leave it on for about a bit, about 30 minutes is all I can take of him. Although how he weave it all together to come the conclusion he does can be entertaining. I cannot take him seriously.
