Due to the earlier collision involving the fire hydrant (pictured above), the traffic signal lights at the intersection of Contra Costa Blvd. and I-680 in Pleasant Hill will be on flash for an extended amount of time.
Please remember, when lights are on flashing red, they are to be treated as stop signs.
Is that what they call a rapid unscheduled disassembly ? ? ?
@ORIGINAL G…. Resulting in….”IT’S A GEEZER!!!!!!”
Oh boy, signals control box is right next to hydrant !
Ah! The wanton hydrantcide!
.
Okay, who in 2023 is gonna keep track of how many hydrants get taken out?
.
Mayor, how about starting a running tally?
.
Good idea!
I second this comment! Can we also keep a tally of how many times the white fence at Galindo St/Concord Blvd/Clayton Rd decides to jump in front of those unsuspecting vehicles. Or any other random pole/curve is on a mission to damage cars that were casually passing by.
Where’s the “It’s a geezer!” commentator?
…. new car wash? 🙂
There was another one at Concord Costco parking lot his morning.
Nevermind, false alarm…just a busted sprinkler head and a report from an eager youngster.
