Home burglaries are down, which of course is a good thing. Two contributing factors I believe:
1) improved home security cameras and alarm systems
2) why would a thief bother to steal used stuff when they now can stroll into any retail store and steal new stuff without consequence?
Did anyone hear the shooting last night on Cowell?
Another reason residential burglaries are down – more people working from home. Most burglaries are during the day when people are at work.
