@Parent-I totally disagree with you. Trump had it right. He’d make millions too. Create a team made of all biological males and have them pretend to be a woman. BOOM! Undefeated Champions right there! LOL!

No

40

Absolutely not. Can’t believe there are people out there who think this is ok.

50

Or turn the question around. Should people who were born female and transition to male be able to compete in men’s sports? What about the ones who are “gender neutral?” Should they compete in both, or either, types of sports since they seem to say they are neither?

There is obviously no controversy about the other way. Because of biology.

No. It’s not fair to a woman who has worked their whole life in a sport and have to step back to a man.
There should be a whole new category for men who transition to being a woman, and they can compete with each other. Same for women who have transition to be men. Why does it seem like women’s rights/voices, to be successful, are being taking away? Or even belittled.

You go Sis!!!! P & Ls

2
2

No. Because men have an advantage over women when it comes to sports. Male upper body strength. Men who are born men should compete with other men. And women should compete with other women.

38

No. I like the answers above but will add my own spin: hypocrisy. Progressives have redefined racism so to them it is racist to ignore race, but here it is the opposite in their gender policy where to acknowledge differences is bigoted. Can’t have both ways except in the wacky world of sick progressive politics.

Hell no!

32

Absolutely NOT!!!

31

No. There should be a separate category for these people.

34

Yes, boy teams, girl teams, and mentally disabled teams.

If you have to ask this question or discuss it, you may want to seek some professional help.

20

For international sports, heck ya. Let’s send our best (wo)men out there, replace folks like Megan Rapinoe, and give ’em what for.

Well, she is for it. So, fair is fair. We can get some fake women to take over her spot. I m SO GLAD I don’t have girls.

No way…. now watch Cali progressives..

My cat wants to be a dog.. felt it was born wrong. Wants to be a dog now. So I’m going to start calling it a dog. ( else it gets offended)
And now it wants to compete in dog shows too. But this is all fine according to how we think of things now. ( or at least the liberals and the democrats)

NO! there goes woman rights being violated once again! Like stated above let them compete against each other. “Woman of the Year” should not have a penis!!!!!

The liberals found a new way to subjugate women. Just replace them all with fake women. Now only fake women have rights. Real women di not.

Your insult is invalid. Most readers are Liberals. Stop your divisiveness and read your Bible.

The fact that this is even a question shows how dumb our country’s dialog has gone. Next they will make it legal to marry your dog. Which isn’t anymore stupid. This is so disappointing for our grandkids. Living in a crazy world. I hope they remain strong.

No.
.
Follow the science, right?
.
This too is complete and utter nonsense.
.
Political correctness results in stupidity.

NO they should not. The fact that this is even something up for debate in this country shows how far we have fallen.

17

My reaction to the current bulls**t is as follows: there will no longer be designations according to sex in high school and college sports. Every high school and college will have ONE football team, ONE basketball team, ONE baseball team, ONE lacrosse team, ONE track and field team, and so on. Tryouts are open to all, and if you don’t make the team, sit down and shut up. Since there wouldn’t be any sports or facilities designated for boys, no violation of Title 9.

Hell to the NO!

No. Chromosomes decide. Feel free to make a separate league but don’t ever ask for pay parity. And don’t get all “whatabout” w Turners, Klinefelters, etc.

People who were born male? Do you mean males? Time to stop playing that stupid game where mental illness is celebrated, reality is denied, and those pointing out reality are attacked.

BINGO & spot on

I hate the “assigned at birth.” Like, dude. No one was “assigned” anything. It’s just biology and how people were created.

Nope.
Simply designate an “Unlimited” class. Any biology, any surgery, any chemicals. You want to show up with artificial genitalia mounted to your forehead, no problem. Anyone competes, anything goes.
Problem solved.

No, of course not.
If you are a progressive liberal Democrat please give us the definition of woman! If you can’t then stop talking about the woman’s March and woman’s rights, a woman’s choice………….

I can see the issue from both sides. It does not seem fair. However, how do the person that was born male, then compete as a female feel when and if the win. Isn’t kind of a hollow victory. Can they honestly say it was a hard fair fight? When my daughter played soccer, when she was 13 or so, at one time the opposing team was totally out of their league, my daugthers team scored goal after goal, the other team didn’t get one goal. My daughter’s team did not really celebrate that win, they didn’t have to fight for it, they were not playing against someone that were more less equal.

What is this ….. Russia?

What’s strangest thing about this lunacy is, the majority who are fighting for women are….men.

No and No again. God help this country.

7
1

No! Enough of this degeneracy

I think women should be allowed to play on men’s pro football teams.

There is a reason sports such as boxing and wrestling have weight divisions. A 190 pound boxer is not allowed to say “I identify as 130 pounds” and to compete in that division.

Hell no!

HELL NO, it’s only an issue in women’s sports, wonder why this isn’t an issue in men’s sports 🤔

You are born a man or a woman. You cannot “Transition” to another. That’s a lie. Let’s see a fake trangender man have a child.

I don’t care what you want to identify as, as long as you are happy! However, there should be guidelines. If you are born a male and decide to transition to female, then you cannot complete in women’s sports and vice versa, period. I’ve been a woman for over 60 years and some trans who has been a woman for a few years becomes woman of the year…..really? What a joke!

11

I agree, and I’ll add a wrinkle. Don’t expect me to participate in your delusion. If I decide to do so out of courtesy, so be it. But you’re not entitled to affirmation from me.

Very, very, well said.

Sure, if the sport is giving birth.
