The top photo shows an article from the Contra Costa Times in 1968. It talks about the Concord Planning Commission’s approval of the Solano Flea Market (formerly the Swap-A-Rama Flea Market).
The middle is an advertisement for the for the flea market for Mother’s Day weekend in 1971.
And the bottom is how the entrance to the flea market looks today, in 2022.

About 15 years ago I would go every Sunday to find goods fix and sell for a spot I rented, in a Walnut Creek shop.
Have not been there much lately and miss the vendors who don’t sell there anymore.
It’s also fun to go sell there too, which I have done a few times with items & plants.
There are interesting people you end up meeting there.
In fact, that’s how I met one of friends (20+ years ago) who loved to furnish her house and I helped her.
It’s great knowing nothing I’m buying there is hot because they are recording serial numbers.

Thanks for the chuckle
I go there here and there. Sure alot of nice bikes and tools being sold cheap, I wonder why?
