Join the City of Concord and Concord Rotary for our annual Arbor Day celebration.
Volunteers will gather on Saturday, April 8 at 9 a.m. at Concord Community Park (3501 Cowell Road) to plant trees and spread mulch.
Instructions and tools will be provided. No pre-registration necessary.
Arbor Day is an annual celebration of the planting, upkeep and preservation of trees, which are so critical to sustaining a healthy environment and climate.
Preferable ones that won’t fall over in fifty years.
Yes such as eucalyptus trees!!!
The presence of politicians will insure that there will be no shortage of fertilizer
.
Tree lined neighborhoods feel more “homey” and speak of community unlike places like Richmond and the Oakland flatlands where the residential areas feel utilitarian, naked, and unwelcoming.
.
Noble cause. This sounds all around good!
Who has this kind of time. I worked 12 hours straight. Top speed. I didn’t eat, or pee. No breaks.
Pipe dream.
