A man who pistol-whipped a passenger on a BART train on Thursday night accidentally fired the gun and the bullet grazed the victim’s head, a spokesperson for the transit agency said on Friday.

At about 10 p.m., two men got into an argument on the San Francisco International Airport bound train approaching Embarcadero Station in San Francisco, BART officials said. During the argument, one suspect pulled out a handgun and began pistol-whipping the other man. The gun went off and the bullet grazed the victim’s head.

BART Police arrived to the approaching train but could not located the victim or the suspect, according to BART.

Surveillance footage was pulled to aid in the investigation and police believe they located the victim near the 16th Street Mission Station at 10:45 p.m. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to live.

Not only BART but the whole bay area has to be cleaned up. This is what happens when liberals take over and then lose control. The ACLU should have never forced mental institutions to close.

The place for politics are Friday evening.
The ACLU did not close any institutions.. Various levels of government did to save money.

I have nothing but unkind thoughts for the insecure perpetrator who felt the need to carry a gun and bring it out during an argument.

Blm defunded bart police. Now theres no enforcement. 40% of the riders do not pay, they just jump over. They tell all their drug dealer friends how easy it is to scam bart. The criminals feel empowered to rob, rape, and smoke crystal meth on bart. It’s a free for all, kinda like a back alley in harlem.

Let’s not forget about the free entertainment venue while riding on the trans-bay tube. Music and acrobatics included!

Inspector General of Bart just quit because of the corruption at BART and not being able to inspect many things or talk to employees. They are stealing wages and making undisclosed purchases. Sounds like a happy place.
