That’s just not cool.
Someone (or something) dumped a very large truckload full of garbage on Kirker Pass Rd. this week.
What a mess.
Thanks to the county workers who will end up cleaning up this mess.
For future reference, there are two different places where you can take your garbage.
- 1300 Loveridge Road, Pittsburg
- 951 Waterbird Way, Martinez
someone should go through the garbage, find an address (if available) and fine the hell out of these idiots! so disgusting.
Saw Pittsburg out this morning doing something with dump truck.
Didn’t see mess above driving up from Clayton around 10 am.

There are a few “Free Range” couches still available along Kirker Pass Rd..
People hire a hauler to pick up their trash and haul it to the dump, never realizing that the hauler has no intention of taking it to the dump. They will pocket the extra cash and dump it on the side of the road. The best way of making certain the trash gets to the dump, is to rent a truck and do it yourself, or tell him to bring you the receipt.

That dump site is very clearly on the Pittsburg end of Kirker Pass
Wonder if this is similar to some of the crews that are supposed to clean up that kind of stuff over in Oakland. But I think DAWG might be on the right answer.
Looks like there must be cameras on Bailey RD, as the shift to Kirker Pass is apparently on.
More cameras please.
Just maybe if the dumps didn’t rip you off that load may have made it to the dumps. According to what I get charged for my junk in a pickup truck that is about a $250 load.

Bailey road doesn’t seem like the optimal location for this, takes at least 5 minutes to dump a dump truck or trailer and much much longer to do it by hand
We pay a fortune to incarcerate criminals, let them pay their debt by cleaning the roadways, etc instead of giving them weights, basketball and tattoos

This sort of dumping is almost a daily occurrence on Cummings Skyway.
Recently a sign was put up about dumping there and a number to call…
What did they do? Dumped their stuff right at the sign.
It cost money to take trash to the places you posted? That would not be a good solution if they didn’t have money, which is usually why they do that.. It cost me a lot last time I went, so I understand.
Post a FREE place to take garbage to be a comparable solution……..
