Gotta wonder if there’s a GED or high school diploma between ’em.
From last year there are still three burned out boarded up high density housing units on that street.
Sycamore Drive is area APD knows extremely well.
Driven down Sycamore in past and seen Police vehicles on four separate calls at same time.
.
Across from that liquor store are pole city mounted license plate readers and opposite that parking lot plus pole mounted pan tilt zoom camera at L street and Sycamore intersection less than 80 feet away.
.
On January 17 of this year was a murder in same liquor store parking lot.
Cities biggest mistakes low rent high density housing and allowing cheaper houses on postage stamp sized lots which bring in lower property tax revenue.
.
What past city councils either didn’t realize or DIDN’T CARE is lower property tax revenue leaves almost no cushion of funds when there’s an economic downturn, like one that’s coming later this year.
.
2020 there were 115 Police officers, by October 2022 city only had 102, number now is under 80.
Other impediment antioch, voters elected WOKE members to city council.
.
antioch has REALLY gone down hill since 1980s.
