Registration is now open for several events hosted by the Contra Costa Water District.
These free events give their customers a behind the scenes look at the incredible system that reliably delivers high-quality water 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Depending on the tour or event, customers will see a Delta intake, large pump stations, the Contra Costa Canal, the main operations center, and much more.
Tours are popular and fill up fast.
Here is what is on the horizon:
- Los Vaqueros Reservoir Facilities Tour on April 28.
- Contra Costa Water District Facilities Tour on May 12.
- Los Vaqueros Reservoir 25th Anniversary Open House on May 20.
- The open house should be especially fun for the kids. They’ll have guided hikes, an augmented reality sandbox, shuttle rides to the top of the dam, and much more!
If they had a tour featuring motor drive,, PLC and I/O cabinets I’d be interested.
Always like to see workmanship, layout of cabinet backplates, artistry and craftsmanship.
@Original G – I think if you all that you could get your own tour. Techies like to show and talk about their toys. Maybe you could start a trend on Claycord by posting pictures of your own cabinets, assuming they are very neatly wired and bundled.
