Check these out!

These aerial photos were taken WAAAAAAAAY back in the year 1991.

Here’s a message from the photographer, Clayton resident David Skidmore….

These photos of Clayton were taken in 1991.

The Clayton “grove” was still present, the new Marsh Creek Bypass was being built and the Keller Barn was still standing before the Library was built a few years later. The golf course had just been completed, Oakhurst was in its first phase and Albert (Jr.) Seeno’s house was just completed without the later additions.

I took these photos from a Cessna with a friend on our way to Utah.

Thanks for sharing, David!

The Skidmores moved out of Clayton years ago. I was friends with Ben and Sam. Good family and beautiful house they had right on the creek/walking trail. They always invited the neighborhood kids over to go swimming.

The skidmore home was top dead center of the second photo at the creek dead end of Mitchell canyon road.

I’ve always been curious about that giant compound/mansion on the hill! Cool to see a picture of it.
