As soon as officers arrived, they located and arrested 47-year-old Brentwood resident Mandisa Brooks. She was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility for booking.

We will continue to hold thieves accountable in our City, and work diligently in taking a proactive approach in preventing theft related crimes.

If she hadn’t gotten in a fight, they probably wouldn’t have arrested her. I’m sure it’s under $950. Whatever it takes to jail these thieves.

Good job LE! … now Becton – she’s committed assault and battery – keep her locked up!

I know Brentwood says that they will “hold thieves accountable”, but I’m kind of pessimistic about the situation. Because as hard as they try when the DA’s office gets a hold of it they will let the crook go. Our DA ( which you all elected ) is on the record of saying she will not prosecute people stealing out of need as long as they steal less than $950 and do it three times or less.
What kind of signal do you think that is given thieves?

I think you mean the George Soros sponsored Contra Costa County District Attorney, Diana Becton who is pro-criminal and anti-prosecution. I can’t believe with all the negative publicity she received during her last election that she was re-elected. Never underestimate the stupidity of the California voter.
California is a criminals sanctuary.

FRAUD!! She really had LESS votes!!! 😤😝

I’m sure the two jugs of vodka mix well with the prescription meds. Wonderful way to be out and about (stealing ruffles). Thx for the laugh concerned

She’s not in custody in Contra Costa system as of now. Already released.

Diversity is our strength. Low income housing will make us better.

I’m sure reparations will make it all better.
