Walnut Creek and Concord Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures on Ygnacio Valley Rd.
Work will be occurring on eastbound Ygancio Valley Rd. between Oak Grove Rd. and Cowell Rd. today and Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Temporary lane closures will occur in the two right hand lanes.

What are they doing? Hopefully repaving, because Ygnacio is a pothole-jutted mess.
Not sure if this is why but the whole hillside has been slowly moving for years and with the increase in rains this winter it’s probably gotten worse.
They are sealing cracks – I’ve been complaining to the city for weeks to fill the potholes – I’ve had suspension damage that I’ll be submitting to the city of WC… I’ve asked why seal the cracks now – fill the potholes first then do sealing… please send them your complaints as well .
