Oh, please February 16, 2023 - 5:43 PM - 5:43 PM

Let people defend themselves against property crimes (or crimes against your person) and we will see crimes decrease significantly. And, less work for police hopefully over time. Duty to retreat and let someone steal for you? Ludicrous.

antioch has bigger problems than a lack of police officers on it’s streets.
Ask businesses that have moved out of the city, why they left.
Spoke at length a few years ago with top manager of a business that has since quit antioch.

FIGHT CRIME, SHOOT BACK!

Why is a Lieutenant writing this and not the Chief?!? This is not good leadership. Police are not the only defense against crime. The fight against crime needs the support of the entire community from the DA through the Mayor and city council to the business owner and citizens. You can’t be a SJW and woke and fight crime. It just doesn’t work.

Why didn’t the Chief write this?
