Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek is on lockdown.

Police are on scene and everyone is currently safe.

This appears to be some type of threat, however, that has not been confirmed.

Sad this is such a standard part of the high school experience.

Gotta wonder about those people downvoting your comment. Are they in denial or do they approve of school shootings?

The third and most likely reason: Incel

Was there an actual shooting? Answer is NO.

A standard part of high school experience? Stop watching CNN.

Some kid, or kids, wanted the afternoon off.

A student probably had a scheduled exam or a paper due.

No different than puling the fire alarm when you did not study for the test. They let the kids out for the afternoon…wasn’t that the purpose of it all ?

We had bomb threats 2 or 3 times.
We had to line up by classes on the football field to be counted, to make sure we were all safe.

Chinese TikTok challenge?

Teachers should be allowed to have concealed carry.

have you met some of these teachers? No way in heck I would want them armed….

S – If you consider some of the teachers you’ve met unstable, why would you leave your kids with them in the first place?

personally, i didn’t…
solution??? hire retired cops????

There are a fair amount of veterans that are teachers – i.e. people already trained to handle firearms. Retired cops would work too.

I think if 5 -10% of the faculty were trained, certified and armed, it would be an effective deterrent.

Properly vetted, qualified, & trained teachers.

Fake Fake. All made up to get a day off.

It could have been a teacher…. dealing with teenagers 5 days a week can drive you out of your mind.
