Four people were arrested on Wednesday in San Francisco for alleged possession of firearms and narcotics sales.
An investigation that began in San Francisco to disrupt drugs that were allegedly destined for the Tenderloin district resulted in search warrants being executed at residences in Oakland on the 2500-block of 61st Avenue and the 1800-block of East 24th Street, San Francisco police said in a news release.
San Francisco police officers allegedly noticed a vehicle associated with the search warrant driving in the Southern district and initiated a traffic stop near Minna and Julia Streets. Officers seized alleged evidence from the vehicle while a search warrant was served at the Oakland residences.
A search of the residences allegedly turned up cash and multiple firearms, including a so-called ghost gun without a serial number, as well as 23 pounds of narcotics that police said included 21 pounds of fentanyl.
A 16-year-old was arrested whose name is not being released. He was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center.
Also arrested were Olvin Ochoa-Cruz, 25, Darwin Ochoa-Cruz, 32, and Carlos Rivas, 29, all of whom are Oakland residents. They were booked at San Francisco County Jail on multiple charges.
Anyone who sells fentanyl should be charged with murder. For sure they have killed someone and it may make someone think twice before selling it. Or let them out on no bail and the dying goes on. The government has choices but they keep making the wrong ones.
No body puts a gun on anyone to do it.
It should at least a life sentence. People gamble on their entire lives while taking lives..
You would think it wo8be worth it to anyone.
