Better bring in the Brass Monkey tonight

No rain in forecast but raining all day. Severe wind and freeze in forecast, with no wind and no ice. Wish I had that job.

We used to get the Thanksgiving meals there. Turkey, spuds, stuffing, gravy and all the fixings, including pumpkin pie. Had a terrible experience there about 3 or 4 years ago after pre-ordering. Stood in line for almost an hour just to pay and saw the long line at the truck where you pick up your order and said screw it and went home. That was it for Boston Market for us. Now’s your chance Olive Garden!

Well this obviously posted in the wrong topic. Supposed to go in the Boston Market post. This is the second time this has happened. Operator error? Never had a problem before. Anyway, stay warm peeps.

I had that happen to me once…you are typing your comment and next thing you know after you press submit, the lineup changes on the website and voila you’ve just posted to the wrong thread…

Another good reason to be able to delete comments and change thumbs up or down.

Touchscreens hate me. I like the new layout, but weird things happen when I post with my phone. If my memory was better, I’d try to save my ideas until I’m back at my computer.

There wasn’t even a hint of breeze in West Clayton this morning after all that hype about 60 mph winds, trees falling, with huge power outages, etc. Makes me wonder if their crystal ball is broken.

There was a pretty good wind throughout the night out by Ayers
