Police in Antioch are investigating a shooting that occurred in a McDonald’s parking lot on Thursday.
On Thursday at 5:37 p.m., officers with the Antioch Police Department responded to the McDonald’s at 4440 Lone Tree Way on calls about a man who had entered the restaurant after being shot.
Responding officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a hospital and was listed in critical condition Thursday night, police said.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the parking lot, and the victim ran into McDonald’s and collapsed.
Police said the suspect, described as a man wearing a black jacket, fled and remains at large.
I know a guy that has a black jacket!
Me too ! Maybe the police can release a photo of a black jacket. And ask for help from the public
Sketchy. Why no description of the criminal or the run? The must not be a treat to the public.
You know why.
Couple blocks from the high school.
Dodge City
.
Antioch seems to be in competition with Oakland, Brentwood, and Pittsburg.
.
I wonder if there is a common thread amongst these cities.
.
Hmmm… Lemme think.
.
Police most likely have more info that they cannot share.
@ FED UP ~ Oh Bullscat ! The police can give us accurate suspect descriptions, they’re just afraid to offend any overly sensitive, short tempered people that are always getting blamed for everything by eye witnesses.
Dang. Those eye witnesses really ruin it for everyone. They are so racist when they accurately describe the criminals. How dare they.

What the heck is happening to Antioch? The TV news the other night reported that it was classified as the worst city in the Bay Area in which to live. It’s funny you drive through that area where the crime happened and it’s all nice big homes and nice parks and shopping centers, but I guess it’s full of trashy people. Shame
This is what happens when you bring in Section 8. Nothing new, just be aware of the black jacket and you’ll be safe. Thank god I’m nowhere near Antioch, Pitt, Oakley, Oakland and Brentwood.
