A woman called Pleasant Hill Police on Thursday to report a man tried to allegedly lure her son near the Pleasant Hill Safeway on Patterson Blvd. (off Oak Park Blvd.)

The woman says she was waiting to pick up her son from school when she noticed a man was trying to get her son to talk to him around 3:30 p.m.

The woman intervened and called police.

Police say the man was a black male adult with dreadlocks. He was wearing a beanie and a khaki long coat. He was not located by police.

I’m not going to get into a back and forth because all I’ll be called is “woke” but this is stretch. “That Race,” I mean come on. I’d have to know more before I called this out in this manner. LOL, that’s why I’m not on Next Door anymore.

OG I sent that video around to my list of usual suspects about a year ago. It is the best commentary yet on “the Problem Race”. (not “The Racial Problem”) Be safe out there …. especially you kids.

The bad guy is exactly the type that liberal Democrat state politician Scott Wiener wants out and about in our community.

Yet I’ll bet the “sovereign citizen” with the fully automatic weapon who doesn’t believe in the rule of law up above would nary be a concern with the 27 thumbs down people I got on this…

That guy is there all the time. He normally hangs out at that 7/11 or at the bus stop on Oak Park across from the liquor store.

One of Becton’s no-bail buddies?

Parents, how many of you let your kids walk around ear buds blasting and eyes fixed on their hand held devices totally oblivious to their surroundings ? ? ? ?

There is a “mental health” housing resource right next door to that Safeway. The clients that live there like getting out, (and socialization). I’ve seen a man who meets this description – (who is a resident there). I hope this eases any fear/anxiety. It’s a busy area there – (but safe). The 7-11 owners know most of these residents, and would be the first ones to help out with any investigation. They are very kind – and observant people – that work there – (I believe they are Sikhs).

I would agree with Clam Bake. The description matches that of one of the local harmless characters. I usually see this guy on the CC Canal trail around 1st Ave but would not be surprised to see him at or near the 7-11 and Safeway.

“Everyone thought he was harmless. No one expected he would attack that kid with a machete.”
