A child suffered major injuries in a hit & run collision in the Contra Costa city of Rodeo on Friday morning, according to the CHP.
The collision occurred at about 6:50 a.m. when a driver crashed into the child in the area of Parker Ave. and 6th St. in Rodeo.
The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene and was described by witnesses as a dark colored SUV, possibly a Jeep.
