Definitely “Park N Shop” in Concord.
.
It is disjointed and not pedestrian friendly…. there is no “civic” space like a plaza. The facades are outdated and the signage is a mess.
.
They should consult Regency Centers who successfully remodeled Encina Grande in Walnut Creek.

all of em’

The Terminal Center on Clayton Road across from BART. Save Luigi’s and Los Tacos de Pancho and scrap the rest.

Terminal Shopping Center by Concord BART. Homeless druggies camping or laying on the sidewalk, shoplifters running out of CVS and empty storefronts. They need to clean that strip mall up. Luigi’s has issues now with lousy customer service. They won’t be around for long.

I agree, Luigi’s is on the down hill slide

I went to Costco Wednesday afternoon. Figured who shops on Wednesday afternoon. Turns out you have to wait for a parking place on Wednesday afternoon. Maybe we need another Costco in the county in one of those shopping centers that needs renovation that has a big parking lot.

Bel-Air, where the post office & CVS are

Maybe they could get some more businesses in there if they did. It’s been an armpit for years!

The Terminal Center and The Vineyard.

Park n Shop and Bel Air – both

Belair, a bulldozer would be just fine.

Boy, reading all these comments really highlights how many shopping centers are in poor condition. When reading the question, the first location that came to my mind was more Sunvalley Mall. Went there for the first time in many years. I could not tell if Sears or Penney’s were even open (still don’t know). Went in to a specific store, and I saw in the mall area a couple security guards, custodial services, kiosk attendees, outnumbering the few patrons. I expect if not for the 2 eateries, that whole location would be a complete ghost town. Maybe they ought to open the (upper) parking area for sideshows.

So, is “The Terminal Center” a name, or a description? Hard to argue with the mention of this center, or Bel-Air.

Bel Air is the saddest place ever. I have lived in the area for 18 years, it has never been great but remember when the Hobby Shop and Longs were there? RIP Longs! I really wish they would make over this center, it is in a prime location and it is abysmal.

Sun Valley. It’s a hive of scum and villainy. Level it and crime will disappear in that area. Build a sports complex with batting cages and indoor soccer.

Broadway plaza in Walnut Creek. It has all the charm and substance of Orange County.
They really screwed it up with the last makeover.

Sun Valley Mall. Tear it down and let the land return to nature.

With the exception of the Willows and Veranda, every center in Concord needs a major refurbish. They are all very ghetto fabulous looking
