After 10 years in business, Yogurt Shack in the Clayton Valley Shopping Center on Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Concord has permanently closed.

A sign on their door announced the closure. No reason was given, and they did not reply to an email asking about the closure.

Sad to see another business close. Did that new ice cream store in Clayton open yet?

Too soon! 🤣

Noooo, always went there 🙁

Hate seeing another business close in these challenging times. Perhaps this will be a great opportunity for an Olive Garden there? Would be a great addition to the Claycord community.

Too small for an Olive Garden, but how about a drive thru only Olive Garden? No inside seating just pull up order and they bring you bread sticks in the parking lot while you wait..

It looks like the right size for an Olive Branch.

The real estate square footage is too small a place for an Olive Garden.

I believe that was a joke

.
The free market says there’s not enough room in the economy for that yogurt shop at that location.
.
All hail capitalism!

What a shame. There are a few Yogurt Shacks in the area, and they’re owned by a good-looking former athlete at Clayton Valley. Such memories…

That’s sad…so many after school treats were consumed there! They will be missed, for sure.

I used to work in that shopping center and I would to go by there often for a sweet treat. Even after no longer working near there, it continued to be my favorite frozen yogurt spot. I’m very sad to see it go.

Clayton is open

Was it mentioned a Greek restaurant opened near peets? I think it will do well . Prices are decent.

So Concord hates fro-yo shops then?? The one in Todos Santos has been gone for years, the one in the mall is gone, and now this one is gone too?? When it was 115° we were having fro-yo for dinner lol
