Nearly 96,000 customers around the Bay Area are impacted by power outages on Wednesday night as an atmospheric river drenches the region, according to PG&E.
Most of the outages are on the Peninsula, where 41,189 were without power as of 7:45 p.m. according PG&E spokesperson Karly Hernandez.
The outages are affecting 12,686 in the North Bay; 6,722 in San Francisco; 21,097 in the East Bay; and 13,861 in the South Bay, according to PG&E.
I was sure happy to have a fireplace during the power outages due to our Christmas deep freeze.
