It looks like it waited to get dark before the storm made its arrival.

The rain, which will be heavy at times, will last until 4 p.m. on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

We can expect local flooding, along with high winds and possible downed trees, branches and power lines. Possible thunderstorms are expected overnight into Thursday morning.

Meh.
.
Too much media hype about the rain n wind.
.
CA officials and the media need to grow a spine.

And then if there were no warnings, people would complain. Yes, it was hyped up. Rather be overprepared.

Indeed a welcome site in having all this rain. It gives direction to the water district boards to increase rates.

I remember a time when we used to call this winter. It feels good to have the rain again. The wind is a little stiff but not bad and it is bringing down the rest of the leaves. The house creaks and grones but has stood here since the 60’s so not worried. After the drive home I have no intent to go out on the roads as people react poorly to weather so I do not want to add to the people dying.
Hunker in your Bunker people and have a good night.

Too dry, too rainy, too windy, too cold, too warm, too breezy, too many citizens, not enough resources, need to
allow more people across the border, too many baths, too much water consumption, need to plant rocks, blah, blah, blah, Fluffy!
