As a country, we are obsessed with rich people and celebrities. Why? Who cares. They are all so pompous and arrogant. Trump, Elon, Oprah… obviously all different people but similarly shove their wealth down people’s throats. I for one deleted my social media and have no interest in this eccentric twit. They pretend to be for the greater good, to care, but really do you think they give a crap about any of us? Nope. They just want to stuff their coffers and get richer.

He seems to be tanking the company quickly. He lays off 50% of his employees and then 75% of the remaining ones quit? And for as much as he touts his support of free speech, he sure does ban a large number of accounts that criticize him. I don’t see how he will turn his around.
@elonjet has been suspended, the one that tracked his private jet. I know people who had a suspended account, now with Elon in charge their accounts are permanently banned. That person criticized the last Russian election.
You don’t any danger is posting real time data on ANYONE’S location, not to mention a controversial public figure? You know people with suspended accounts? Is that in addition to a number of girls in the Niagara Falls area?
He did suspend Kathy Griffin, not for criticism, but for impersonating him. So then, she used her mom’s account to impersonate him again. We call that being a slow-learner, but he did offer to let her back on Twitter for $8 per month.
I think he will end up with a company that performs just as well but with a much leaner staff, so therefore more profitable.

I have no idea if he’s doing the whole good cop/ bad cop thing…..BUT it’s hilarious how he is exposing the collusion of FBI, DHS etc with Twitter to have a bias.
It’s called the Twitter files……which the mainstream media refuses to touch – just like the laptop!!!
And Chuq…..”it’s a private company…..he can do what he wants”. Isn’t that what You all were saying for two years of CENSORING people???

Excellent. Musk is an immigrant.. he “gets it” about what it means to be an American and the liberties enabled by the US Constitution and a Democratic Republic.
.
Many Americans who are born here take things for granted… I’m glad he’s shaking up the liberal swamp and instilling fear in that they cannot control the narrative pursuant the First Amendment.
.
Elon Musk has revealed that big tech companies have been COLLUDING WITH THE DEMOCRATS TO SUPPRESS FREE SPEECH AND COMMUNICATION.

I certainly don’t worship the guy (or any other celebrity), but I think he’s smart and I like what he’s doing.

In ~10 years or so I believe he’ll be the subject of many business and PR classes, how to totally destroy your brand and its value in the blink of any eye. I don’t believe he’s long for Tesla, with the stock work half of what it was and if his goal was to destroy Twitter I guess he’s succeeded, but something tells me Disney/Comcast/Amazon/Apple/Microsoft will end up owning it in 12-18 months.
Wow, Disney and Apple sure led the market’s sell off this week. They’ll likely be fine once they realize they are betraying shareholders with all the woke/equity stuff. The class action lawsuits will see to that.

He’s a liar and grandstander. When asked if he would reinstate Alex Jones. He said no, because his baby died in his arms and he couldn’t imagine someone taking advantage of such a tragedy. To which his ex-wife tweeted, Actually you weren’t around when the baby died in my arms. Define irony.
But also Musk didn’t invent PayPal or send people to Mars. He doesn’t live in a tiny home. He didn’t help save the stranded soccer team from the cave, etc. And if you want to get one of his microchips implanted in your head, you should definitely get your head checked.
Despite all that I approve what he is doing with Twitter. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

He is a savant. In my opinion, one of his strengths is analyzing a situation, boiling it down to its simplest terms, sometimes in just a few words. That’s a rare skill.
However he’s certainly not afraid to risk his own assets somewhat recklessly. In a world of virtue signaling, there must be thousands of Tesla drivers horrified they now drive a car symbolizing conservative thought. Ouch, that must really be painful, and I’m willing to bet he’s amused by that.
True or not, his claim Twitter censorship of The Babylon Bee is what got him fired up makes an excellent story. The fact the major media outlets are ignoring the internal Twitter emails is also an excellent story. He’ll continue to drip information knowing he’ll get to something that can’t be ignored.
Censorship has consequences.
I don’t believe he is a conservative. Perhaps the fact that defense of free speech has evolved into a conservative value tells us all we need to know about the direction of our beloved country. Interesting that this action is being carried out by an African American immigrant.

Grateful he released the Twitter Files but wish he would remove all of the former FBI and CIA agents working at Twitter. Or at least admit he can’t because he has to keep playing the game to get more tax subsidies. Must admit, I find his tweets entertaining and often hilarious.
What? Those “agents” participated in being CCP Anti-American shills.
They need to be outed and Americans need to know who the traitors are.

And using government subsidies to the tune of millions while saying how he is self-made is a dynamic and engaging marketing strategy. But he seems over concerned with being popular and liked by everyone.
If Musk were concerned with being popular and liked by everyone, he wouldn’t have said he planned to vote Republican, and he wouldn’t have directed all the Twitter layoffs. Further, he certainly wouldn’t be publishing all those blacklist emails. He is Public Enemy #1 of the Biden administration.

In fact, if needed, I would buy a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle before buying a Tesla. but actually for my use case, one of the many great EVs from other manufacturers suits my purpose fine, and I’m very happy with it. It has better build quality too, which is not a high bar.
