Free Recliner On Clayton Road + Have You Noticed More Items Being Dumped Around Contra Costa County?

If you’re looking for a free (very used) chair, look no further than Clayton Rd. in Concord, near McDonald’s. It even reclines!

QUESTION: Have you noticed an increase in items being dumped around Contra Costa County?

If you’re thinking about dumping an item, please reconsider.

You can call someone to have it picked up for a small charge, or you can bring it yourself to the nearest dump (Pittsburg and/or Martinez).

Most garbage companies have 2/3 free bulk pickups a year. There is no excuse for this. I think Concord just had a free dump day at the Concord Pavilion last month.

oh yes, YVR, Kirker Pass, Arnold Industrial, Concord Ave, etc. ..sits for days,,,,

Some people are real pigs when they dump garbage around our city. I hope it doesn’t turn into Oakland with trash everywhere. Heavy fines for those who are caught doing these dumps.

Wow!
If AMR still had 24 hour shifts, sure they would grab it as a Christmas gift for the field EMT’s & paramedics

Prices at the dump are outrageous !
The price of everything keeps going up and the quality & character of people in our society keeps going down!

To their credit, Republic Services (Clayton) will usually pick up a customer’s bulky items, when you call ahead. And, occasionally Lazy Boy Furniture will pick up an old piece it you’re replacing it with a new one. This one looks like it’s pretty much worn out, however. Doesn’t belong on the street, for sure.

PEOPLE ARE CHEAP AND THEY MAKE OTHER PEOPLE CLEAN UP, SO THE CITYS PAY FOR IT.

This is what we get when the government allows people to refuse their own upkeep and makes the rest of us fund their whole lives.

What, they couldn’t make it to the Bailey Road throw n’ go? Gettin’ lazy out there.

Fyee?

I have never dumped anything on the side of the road like most of us haven’t, but using the dump and paying their prices I can see how someone just making it would do that. The dump is not cheap.

Other than Bailey Road, the worst area I’ve seen for dumping is Alhambra Valley Road between Pinole Valley Road and Bear Creek Road.

The new Californians are just trying to make here look like where they came from………… I had better stop there otherwise my comment will get moderated out to the corn field.

No connunity pride. How about all the garbage in our parking lots?

You’re entitled to your opinion about those cities, but I don’t think Pittsburg and Martinez are necessarily dumps.

Free Range furniture

But when someone dumps a piano on the sidewalk in Walnut Creek, people treat it as a beautiful act of altruism.

I haven’t come across much in my years that the following (see link) won’t cut up so I can feed it into my trash cans over a couple of weeks. Ar, ar, ar.

Lay back, smoke some weed and enjoy the show.
