The Pittsburg Police found a stash of what they say are illegal items during a routine traffic stop this week.

The following is from the Pittsburg Police Dept.:

One of our graveyard officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop for CVC violations.

A black rifle bag was observed in plain view in the backseat, and the driver was ordered to step out of the vehicle.

The driver refused to exit, and was subsequently removed out of the vehicle by officers. The driver was quickly detained without further incident.

The photos above show what was located inside, all which is illegal and highly dangerous.

We are thankful nobody was hurt during this traffic stop. Our officers are remaining vigilant and will continue to keep our community safe one car stop at a time.

Can you imagine what they would find with stop and frisk? They wouldn’t stop you. They know who to stop. I think they are secretly doing that in Oakland now.

They’re doing that in El Salvador. The police are stopping and arresting any and everybody that looks suspicious, or looks like a gang member. More than 65,000 suspected gang members have been arrested since March 2022.

I saw their presidents interview. I hope they can keep it up.

I’m sure they purchased those guns legally. Filled out all the paperwork, thumb print, background check and waited 10 days before picking up those guns right?

“Oh Lord woncha buy me a Mercedes Benz, all my crazy drug dealers are trying to find me…..”

I expect the D.A. will be ready to throw the booklet at them. One of those real flimsey ones. With no staples and about six pages of tissue paper.

I suppose that is how bay point/pittsburg gets renamed to gun point.

Names? I don’t know why we can’t have names of the people in our area that we should avoid at all costs. Why don’t we get the name, age and address of these criminals living among us. I don’t understand why their identities are protected. We used to only protect the victim’s identities. These criminals ain’t victims.

A shame about the fn 5.7 but not a huge loss on the anderson bear creek combo
