One lane of Monument Blvd. will be closed for construction northbound (toward downtown) between Systron Drive and Cowell Road on Monday, Nov. 28 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. (If it rains, as is predicted, this work will be shifted to the next dry day.)
The work being performed is part of the Monument Blvd. Class 1 Path project, which includes the construction of a bicycle and pedestrian path separated from vehicles and improvements to the signalized intersection for enhanced safety, according to the City of Concord.

Bad planning.
.
This work should have been done over the summer… not during the holiday shopping season.
.
I think when it’s all done they should name it the “Hobo Highway”. I’m sure the former occupants of that property can’t wait until their improvements are completed and they can move back in.
I miss not seeing all the little ground squirrels.
Maybe, they’ll gather back there, if they weren’t all killed.
“…improvements to the signalized intersection for enhanced safety…”…
Yes, please. A green left turn arrow from Systron onto Monument is sorely needed.
People just don’t follow the arrows on the street. Yes I agree with you they need a green arrow going left from Systron to Monument.
