42-Year-Old Pleasant Hill Resident Raymond Cunanan

Mountain View Police announced that after five months of extensive work, and through collaboration with several law enforcement partners (including the Pleasant Hill Police Department), five men have been arrested in connection with two separate incidents occurring at the Chris Stapleton concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View in June, one of which resulted in the death of a man.

On June 18 shortly before 10:45 p.m., Mountain View officers responded to reports of a man who was found unresponsive near the Stage Right Cafe at the venue. Responding first responders attempted life-saving measures and the man was rushed to an area hospital for further treatment. About a week later, the man – identified as 41-year-old Bakersfield resident Juan Gonzalez – succumbed to his injuries and died.

Also during the concert that night, an off-duty police officer was brutally assaulted by a group of men near a collection of portable restrooms before they walked away from the area.

Officers immediately began investigating, and over the course of the next several days, investigators learned that all suspect parties involved seemed to know one another.

Five men were identified as suspects in these cases. On Nov. 15, in coordination and collaboration with several local and federal partners, Mountain View teams executed arrest and search warrants at the homes of the suspects as well as a search warrant on the Hells Angels clubhouse in San Francisco. All suspects were arrested without incident.

Below is a list of the suspects arrested in connection with these two cases, as well as arresting charges:

  • Dominic Guardado, 33, San Francisco resident: dissuading a witness to a crime
  • Julio Moran, 43, San Mateo resident: assault by means to likely to produce great bodily injury
  • David Wiesenhaven, 38, San Francisco resident: assault by means to likely to produce great bodily injury
  • Logan Winterton, 37, San Francisco resident: murder and assault by means to likely to produce great bodily injury
  • Raymond Cunanan (pictured above), 42, Pleasant Hill resident: dissuading a witness to a crime and assault by means to likely to produce great bodily injury
