There’s no “wink-wink” about it. There are statistical realities that make it possible to call election results well before all the ballots are counted, for races where the margin already counted is wide enough. It’s inherent in how numbers work.

Yes, and there are statistical anomalies. They aren’t mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive. However they won’t be discussed.

@JANES
The latest report from the County showed a voter turnout of 41.34%. Perhaps you overlooked the fact that lots of people actually go to a polling place and vote in person.

So only 18,000 votes in the primary. Where is Becton hiding the uncounted ballots from the last time?

The Governor that had just recently slipped out of a valid Recall petition was declared the winner exactly 2 (two) (dos) MINUTES after the polls closed. What’s not to believe? 😜

“Slipped out of” suggests that the recall was a narrow victory for Newsom. It was not.

Unacceptable! This is why people will believe their votes don’t matter! This is not democracy!
