No drivers were arrested during a DUI enforcement patrol conducted by the Concord Police Department on Saturday Nov.5.

Police will be holding a series of DUI enforcement patrols throughout the year to keep our roadways safe.

Drivers charged with DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.

As a “former” fighter/medic and seeing this stuff every day…looks like a red light runner that got caught in the cross hairs. This crap happens at almost every traffic signal in the EB areas. We see it almost any time we go out shopping, or anywhere else. No respect/no responsibility. Drive smart/wise people. Hope no one was hurt too bad.

Great to hear that DUI seems to be in decline. If CPD can’t find even one drunk driver during a saturation patrol, this is a GOOD thing.

Probably just because nobody got drunk in Concord on Saturday.

DUI patrol is a good thing, but seems like the red light runner’s are the big problem now day’s, I can’t drive 3 miles in concord and not see someone running a red light…..
