Pleasant Hill Police had two more arrests on Thursday evening.
First, they arrested a criminal who stole $800 of merchandise from Dick’s Sporting goods.
Second, pictured above here is the $4,250 worth of stolen over-the-counter medication they recovered from a suspect after he committed a separate shoplift at the Michael’s store on Gregory Lane.
The medication was returned to Safeway after it was recovered from the suspect’s vehicle.
The names of the suspects were not released by police.
Police departments need to release these criminals names and booking pictures so other stores can be on the lookout for these criminals since the DA won’t do anything.
Guess they didn’t keep it for evidence since he or she wasn’t going to be tried. Need more info.
Below $950 Becton will not prosecute. Nice work by PHPD though.

IF there is no threat of incarceration,
there is no deterrence of crime.
Even then, they make prision too cushy to be a real threat.
Finally, some good old fashioned police enforcement of criminals. Now it’s up to the DA’s office to prosecute. (Sounds of crickets inserted here)
I wonder why all of a sudden they are bothering to catch these people. Election time?
Pleasant hill PD is the best. Concord PD should take note
Why weren’t the names (and pictures) released? …. oh… yeah… no need to explain further
