The Breakfast Club Restaurant Moving Into The Old Yalla Mediterranean Building In Walnut Creek’s Ygnacio Plaza

The Breakfast Club restaurant is moving into the old Yalla Mediterranean building (Daphne’s before that) in the Ygnacio Plaza shopping center in Walnut Creek (across from Heather Farm Park).

It appears The Breakfast Club has at least one other restaurant, in San Jose. They get pretty good reviews on Yelp.

It’s unknown when they plan to open.

It was a great movie, I’ll give them a shot.

Just about every movie written by, or directed by, John Hughes was a great movie. He died at a young age, and the world lost a great talent. There will never be another like him.
Home Alone, Sixteen Candles, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Mr. Mom, and Uncle Buck, are some of my favorites.

YALA was stupid expensive. No surprise they are gone.

They have a restaurant on San Carlos in San Jose and now one on San Carlos in Walnut Creek. Bet that doesn’t happen often.

Do we know when they will open? Hope it does well – Huckleberry’s needs competition… Mimi’s has slipped as well.. Country Waffles is still consistent

Hey Domo isn’t the Closest Mimi’s in Fairfield? That’s not local at all.

Are they going to expand this location? The current space seems kinda small for a sit down Breakfast/lunch restaurant. Will it be competition for “The Greenery”
