ConFire is responding to reports of a fire near the Premier Inn on Concord Ave. in Concord.
Units enroute reported smoke visible from distance.
First units on scene report an exterior fire up against the exterior of an abandoned commercial building.
UPDATE: The fire has been extinguished.

@Cowellian..…Looks like the closed up car parts place (Kragen’s, Car Quest, something ?) next to it. It closed 25+ years ago if not more.

@JAMES….Grand Auto…the one I couldn’t remember….what was the question again?
@JAMES….The old Sno-White was next door to Grand Auto. Then Sno-White became the Beefalo Burger place, across the street was the old Richfield service station….those old memory brain cells are pretty dusty.
It’s not abandoned, it’s vacant. It’s the former DGDG Mazda dealer service center. They still own it, but recently moved to their new location near 680. The fire started in the rear of the building, flames were shooting out of the rear corner. Firefighters rolled up and quickly extinguished the flames. Not sure how much the total damage is, but 4-5 Fire engines responded to the scene.
