On Sunday night at 10 p.m., Concord Police Officers responded to a shooting on Haller Ct., off Virginia Lane (the area behind Monument Blvd. McDonald’s).
Two gunshot victims were located and are hospitalized with serious injuries.
The investigation revealed it was a gang related drive-by shooting and information was obtained about the suspect car.
Officers later located that car and have arrested and charged two adult males with attempted murder.
The case is still under active investigation and police cannot release any more information at this time, including the names of the suspects.
Anyone with information regarding this case may contact Detective Anthony Perry or Detective Davin Roberts with CPD’s Violence Suppression Unit at 925-603-5873 or 925-603-5857.
Maybe Concord should invest in shot spotter technology.
Why can’t CPD say the names of the suspects and show their mug shots? They do where I live and put them on the evening news.
Good work CPD !
So who are they? Who who – who who?
Last name probably ends with a Z.
Can’t release names due to it still being under investigation. Gangs….. there goes the neighborhood.
Good work CPD !
Lock them up!
Its not attempted murder anymore
Now its a murder charge so CPD drop the names
Reminder for the DA that might let them go free… and then have to put them on a Most Wanted list… The brick dropping KILLER that just got 22years was first arrested 9-10 years earlier for drive by shootings in Sonora area. Fully broken minds rarely get completely healed. VERY rarely.
They always get their guys.
Great work CPD.
All we need now is a law and order DA.
