Police in Stockton say they can link seven seemingly random shooting deaths including one in Oakland to the same “person of interest,” the department said this week.
Stockton Police Chief Stanley McFadden stated on social media that investigators have reviewed “many hours” of surveillance tapes in order to narrow the investigation down to one person of interest suspected in the string of shootings.
Police believe that the following six shooting deaths are related:
-40-year-old Hispanic man in Oakland on April 10, 2021.
-35-year-old white man in the 5600 block of Kermit Lane on July 8, 2022.
-43-year-old Hispanic man in the 4900 block of West Lane on Aug. 11, 2022.
-21-year-old Hispanic man in the 800 block of E. Hammer Lane on Aug. 30, 2022.
-52-year-old Hispanic man in the 4400 block of Manchester Avenue on Sept 21, 2022.
-54-year-old Hispanic man in the 900 block of Porter Avenue on Sept. 27, 2022.
On April 16, 2021 a 46-year-old black woman was shot at 3:20 a.m. at Park Street and Union Street in Stockton. The woman survived her injuries.
All of the homicides occurred in the evening or early morning hours and the victims were alone, the chief said.
Police have raised the award for information leading to an arrest of a suspect to $95,000.
Chief McFadden said that there has been misinformation spread about these homicides but that he will continue to release information with public safety in mind but also respecting the needs of the investigation.
“Our detectives and task force officers have been working around the clock on these investigations,” said the chief on social media. “We are committed to protecting our community and solving these cases utilizing all the resources at our disposal including YOU. We need YOUR help!!!!”

The worrisome thing about those dates is that they seem to be getting more frequent and closer between incidents.
Seems like he really hates Latina people, too.
