This morning at approximately 1:25 a.m., Concord Police Officers responded to a report of a solo vehicle collision on northbound Treat Blvd., at Kingswood Dr.
The driver of the involved vehicle, a 45 year old female, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision.
This collision is still under investigation.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Traffic Officer Nanthasiri at 925-671-5096.
Treat Blvd. goes East/West.
Treat does a zig/zag in the Lime Ridge area and is, briefly, a more or less north/south road where it intersects with Kingswood Drive. Ygnacio Valley Road does a similar zig-zag as it goes through the Lime Ridge area.
RIP my beautiful friend
I’m sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and her family.
This does not surprise me at all. The intersection at Treat Blvd and Cowell Rd is like a race track. She probably got ran off the road by someone driving at a high rate of speed. I am constantly getting in touch with Concord PD and reporting the racers/speeders. They just can’t patrol that intersection ever night all night long. There was a small sideshow at 5:15 am on 9-30-22. I guess they never sleep. More innocent people dill die in this area. A high school student died in about the same location quit a few years ago because of excessive speed and a motor cycle crashed at a high rate of speed at Plumleigh and Cowell a few years ago and died. Motorcycle hit a fire hydrant and then a tree. I walked by the next day and there were motorcycle parts all over the front lawn of the house on that corner.
I was the first person on scene for the motorcycle accident. That poor guy did not stand a chance. But, I did get to speak to family and his was not a speeding accident. He was a new motorcycle driver and it was in the dark. I will never forget his face. RIP
Godspeed beautiful lady, our hearts are broken!
Rest up my beautiful friend.

So sorry for your loss. Still in disbelief
Have they identified this victim yet? Is there a gofundme? 🙁
You touched so many souls. You were there for me at a time when no one else was, you checked in on me, made sure that I was ok, and spent hours out of your time to be so much more than a support pillar and phenomenal friend. I’m not sure where you are beautiful woman, but if love means anything where you are…. Baby you’ve got so much! I have never been more truthful in saying this…. But we truly are devastated. We’ll keep your memory alive and make sure that everything is taken care of. Absolute no way, ever could forget you. I’ll carry you in my heart and soul for the rest of my journey here until we meet again.
I already miss you so much, and this hurt is indescribable….
If anyone deserves a chunk of my heart, I’m so proud that it was you who took it with you when you left us.
True Story.
