Time to batten down the hatches. Oh wait… i haven’t got any hatches! What tbe hell are hatches? 😲 where can i buy some?

They have hatches on sale at the batten store, but you’ll have to hurry, supplies are limited.

Try the marina. Maybe there are some for sale there. 😄

I seriously doubt the rain amount prediction based on some models that are someone’s vivid imagination that don’t mean much reliability wise.
So far zero here in Clayton at 8am.

So awesome our soccer club canceled pictures for this non-issue.

Woke up to wet streets but not the sound of a downpour.

So far about 2 drizzles. Not enough to help the yard and the sidewalks are dry within minutes. Hopping for better but doubt it will come.

We usually receive about half of what the Meteorologists predict.

Several years ago some city on the East Coast had a chimpanzee pick the weather at random and it was almost 60% as accurate as the trained forecasters.

I bought a rain gauge yesterday and mounted it on the back fence to see just what kind of rain we actually get. I’ll be curious to see what it reads tomorrow afternoon…
