2,000 Without Power In Concord, Clyde

by CLAYCORD.com

About 2,000 PG&E customers are without power in Concord, the Town of Clyde and a small part of Clayton off Kirker Pass Rd.

It’s unknown when power will be restored.

The cause is apparently “weather related.”

The cause is apparently “weather related.” Ya right! Cause it’s currently a whopping 92 degrees. The new normal.

It was 97 for a few hours on the tarmac, Buchanan Airfield. Asphalt!
My porch was 96. Certainly not 102F! I am charting it. I recommend you do too. I have four thermometers. I will buy more if I see them for under 10 bucks. Thanks Biden.

In SoCal inland, it was at least 100 daily with no AC. My grandmothers survived the hot interior states and you know what they wore. Undergarments, a slip, a dress, hose, leather shoes, apron. No Berkies for them.

Must be too many Teslas plugged in.

Good one!

It would be nice to know if we are looking at hours or days to restore! No updates on PG &E site since it went out. What exactly does weather related mean?

It’s back!!!!

Went off at 820 am

Weather related ????
It went off at 8am when it was high 60’s !
What weather issue !

Well….. NewSCUM said cool your house and charge your car early….

Looks like they did………….. All at once….

Chalk up another one for the brain-child….

I sure hope people start to open their eyes to the damage Newsom has/is doing to our state.

Update: PG&E advises customers “get naked!”

How are we going to charge our electric cars!
Or did that cause this?

5 people were charging their 60 mph EV.

@ Tharv, the people here in California will never open their eyes to the damage Newsome has created. They have their heads buried deep in the sand. We had a chance with the recall, and it failed.

Some people have: Newsom’s wealthy in-laws moved to Florida.

I agree.

I continually see outages locally and throughout the state. And, it seems to be happening more frequently.
When there is no power from our third-world like energy supplier for the electric cars we are all supposed to be driving, we can all just ride horses.

@The Fearless Spectator… And they donated $5000 to Desantis. This gives me immense pleasure. Lol
