The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office charged a Walnut Creek man with 83 felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from the installation of hidden cameras at a Starbucks in downtown Walnut Creek.

A criminal complaint was filed with the Superior Court of California, Contra Costa County on August 29 against 54-year-old Steven John Novelli. Novelli is charged with attempting to produce child pornography, eavesdropping, installing a hidden camera, and burglary.

Police executed a search warrant at Novelli’s residence on August 10, 2022. They seized numerous items of digital evidence after he was identified as the suspect who had on two separate occasions installed hidden cameras in a Starbucks restroom located at 1340 Main Street in Walnut Creek.

Walnut Creek Police arrested Novelli on August 25 and booked him into the Martinez Detention Center. He has remained in custody since his arrest. Novelli will appear on August 30 at 1:30 pm for arraignment in Martinez.

Wow! Are you saying that he might have pictures of my no whip grande without sprinkles?!

Let’s hope not. Maybe. What were you doing with it and where?

Men’s room or Ladies’ Room?

There’s two restrooms not labeled as men/women.

Most Starbucks I’ve been in have one restroom.

Really, I want to know.
Was he a regular perv bugging the Ladies’ room or a real sicko recording in the Men’s room?
It wouldn’t make any difference to me but a couple weirdos pointed at me walking down the street yesterday and one of them said “Oh yeah!… that’s him, that’s the guy” and now all I can do is wonder.

How sad is that to be 54 years old and going through the trouble of installing a camera at Starbucks. You’re a grandfather and up to no good still?

Vote for Mary Know to put this grandfather in prison for life!!! Becton has already released him on no bail !!!

Don’t know where you got that information… he’s still in custody.

And that election is over. Since Becton received more than 50% of the vote, Knox lost and the DA’s office won’t be on the November ballot.

Not enough that government cameras already watch our every move. Add perverts to the mix and you’ve got the full Monty.

Johnny needs to go to the adult wood shed.

Another reason I don’t care for Gender free bathrooms. Not to mention toilet seat is always up and floor is always wet. Nasty!
Thanks Newsom for all your poor decisions.

1 sick disgusting human being

Did he get out of jail ? Today maybe ? It says he had a hearing today and other places have commented that he is now out of jail.
Does anyone have his photo or a link to his photo?

Code Brown! Code Brown!

Yet another reason to have restrooms separated by gender. That way the perverts know where to install the cameras. It pays to be efficient. And if they get caught, hey the Soros DAs are sympathetic.
